With thousands of customers around the world, ILOG’s products are quickly becoming the standard of excellence in their respective categories. We have created a certification program to help ensure that our customers have the knowledge needed to expertly employ our products.

About the program
This program objectively measures practitioners’ product expertise, allowing our customers, partners and consultants to develop and maintain key ILOG product and methodology skills, and gain recognition for these skills. Certification ensures that our customers’ staff or service providers maintain a consistent level of product knowledge, and it demonstrates our partners’ commitment to excellence and ensures recognition for specialized knowledge and dedication to professional development.

The program is open to professionals from across the industry, including ILOG product users and customers, system integrators, independent contractors and consultants and ILOG employees.

How it works
Our product experts create certification exams based on current product releases, best practices and methodological advances. Our delivery partner Pearson VUE administers the program independently through a network of more than 4,000 testing centers worldwide. Registration, scheduling and fee collection are handled directly either online or over the phone.

Available Programs

ILOG JRules 6 for Developers
Join the growing elite of recognized BRMS professionals with certification as an ILOG JRules 6 developer. These exams are based on information contained in publicly available materials such as the ILOG JRules developer training curriculum and ILOG JRules product documentation.

We currently offer three levels of certification

• Bronze
  The bronze level certifies that participants have a basic grasp of all the key concepts and techniques covered in ILOG JRules developer training, including:
  • The principles of business rule application development
  • The fundamentals of rule-based programming
  • How to prepare a rule-authoring environment for business users
  • Techniques for integrating business rules into an application

• Silver
  The silver level certifies that participants have a deeper understanding of ILOG JRules 6. To get certified at this level, participants should typically have used all ILOG JRules modules on at least one real project.
• Gold
  Gold certification certifies that participants have reached an expert level of ILOG JRules product expertise. It shows mastery of advanced concepts and comprehensive knowledge of the product application programming interfaces (APIs), and it is typically acquired through extensive experience with ILOG JRules on real projects.
